SUMMARY:Works on Paper Highlights Talk: Sculpture in Two Dimensions
DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the Clark’s major summer exhibition, Rodin in the United States: Confronting the Modern, Manton Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs Anne Leonard explores a selection of works on paper that directly engage with nineteenth-century French sculpture. Images of and by Rodin share the stage with photographs from the same era documenting monumental sculptures in Paris.\nVisit the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper, which houses the Clark’s collection of more than 6,500 prints, drawings, and photographs. Each week, discover a unique selection of rarely exhibited works on paper with a member of the curatorial department.
