Zumba!\nGet moving in the park with Luana Dias David and community members before enjoying a performance by the Philadelphia-based Hood Lockers.\n \n5:45-6:15pm: Community Zumba® class with Luana Dias David\nBorn in Brazil, Luana is a dance coach, choreographer, fitness instructor, and certified personal trainer who has taught and performed both nationally and internationally. Her dance philosophy and style are inspired by break dance, samba, capoeira, and ballet.\n \n6:30pm: Performance by The Hood Lockers\nFormed in 2005, The Hood Lockers are an internationally known dance group with a shared enthusiasm for street dance. Their work and performance center on the “cultural preservation and progression of Locking,” and they aim to serve as educators, inspiration, and influencers of hip hop culture.\n \nImmediately following the performance, all are invited to the community dance circle led by the Hood Lockers and in collaboration with The Wandering Dance Society.\n \nIn collaboration with the City of Pittsfield’s Office of Cultural Development. Lead support generously provided by Mill Town Foundation. \n
