Musicians would meet after gigs ended to play into the night with others. These early jazz jams are at the center of the creation of Bebop music, offering young players like Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie the priceless opportunity to play with jazz icons such as Ben Webster & Lester Young.\n
